In his communication to the House on November 6 2018 which was the first sitting of the second meeting of the third session of the Tenth Parliament, the Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah noted that so far this session the National Assembly had performed below expectation. For this assessment, the Deputy Speaker cited delays in processing laws, committee reports and other business. Is this assessment of the National Assembly’s performance fair?
